CRM Setup
CRM Setup is a hands-on implementation engagement that takes a fresh or half-configured HubSpot portal to a working state: users, teams and permissions, connected email and calendars, tracking code, pipelines, views, and core settings. It is for companies adopting HubSpot that want the foundations configured correctly the first time.
The problem this solves
A surprising number of portals run for months with the basics missing: reps not connected to email so activity never logs, no tracking code on the website, default pipeline stages nobody agreed on, one shared login for the whole team, currency settings from the wrong country. The team concludes HubSpot does not work, when the portal was simply never set up.
How we work
We configure the portal end to end: account defaults, domains and tracking code, users and teams with sensible permission sets, personal and shared email connections, calendar sync and meeting scheduling pages, plus the CRM basics - pipelines, core properties, filtered views, and record layouts per team.
We work through it with the people who will use the portal, not around them. Email connection and DNS steps usually require your IT; we prepare exact instructions and stay on the call until things actually connect. The setup follows the same checklist we have refined across 30+ portals since 2021.
You get a portal reps can log into and use on day one, plus a settings record documenting what was configured and why.

What do you need from our side to get started?
Three things: admin access to the portal, someone from IT for DNS and mailbox steps, and a decision-maker for pipeline and permission questions. The most common blocker we see is email infrastructure the company does not control - if nobody knows the mailbox admin password, inbox and sequence features stall until IT sorts it out.
We bought HubSpot months ago and barely use it. Is setup still the right module?
Yes. On an existing portal, setup means reviewing what is there, fixing misconfiguration, and completing what was skipped - without wiping anything. If the portal has deeper structural problems, we will tell you and point you to an audit or data model work instead of quietly patching around it.
Does CRM Setup include importing our data?
Small, clean imports - a contact list from a spreadsheet - fit inside setup. A migration from another CRM with deals, activity history, and deduplication is its own engagement, CRM Data Migration & Data Quality Implementation, because that work has its own risks and its own dry-run process.
