Implementation Project Smart CRM

Reporting & Dashboard Implementation

Reporting & Dashboard Implementation is an implementation engagement that builds the HubSpot reports and dashboards your team actually runs on: pipeline and forecast views, funnel conversion, activity versus outcomes, and source reporting. It is for companies whose numbers live in exports and gut feel because portal reporting never matched reality.

The problem this solves

Reports that do not match finance, three versions of the same pipeline number in one leadership meeting, dashboards built once and never opened again. When the CRM's numbers cannot be trusted, people rebuild them in spreadsheets, and the CRM quietly stops being the source of truth it was bought to be.

How we work

Reporting problems are usually data problems wearing a costume, so we start by checking whether the fields your reports need are actually populated and consistently defined. Where they are not, we fix the property architecture and add stamping automation first - otherwise we would just be formatting bad data.

Then we build the report set per audience: a pipeline and forecast dashboard for leadership, funnel conversion from lead to won with stage velocity, rep activity versus outcomes for sales management, and source reporting for marketing. Every metric gets a written definition, agreed upfront with the people who would otherwise argue about it later.

We review each dashboard with its audience after a few weeks of real use and adjust, because the first version of any dashboard is a hypothesis.

Deliverables

  • Metric definitions document agreed across teams
  • Data readiness fixes: property stamping and consistency automation
  • Leadership dashboard with pipeline, forecast, and trend views
  • Funnel conversion and stage velocity reporting
  • Rep activity versus outcome dashboards
  • Post-launch review and adjustment cycle

What buyers ask before scoping.

Our data is messy. Can you still build meaningful reports?

Partially, and we are honest about which parts. Data readiness fixes are part of this module's scope, and some history can be backfilled from timestamps and imports. But certain metrics simply start clean from go-live - we mark those explicitly rather than presenting reconstructed guesses as history.

Do you use standard reports or the custom report builder?

Both. Standard reports cover more than most teams realize and are cheaper to maintain, so we use them wherever they answer the question. Cross-object questions - which sources produce deals that actually close, for example - need the custom report builder, which requires a Professional tier.

Can HubSpot reporting ever match what finance sees?

Yes, if the definitions are reconciled. Most mismatches come from comparing bookings against invoiced revenue, or close dates against payment dates. We align definitions and timestamps where possible, and where a gap is structural, we document it so both numbers can be read side by side without an argument.

Sounds like your situation?

30 minutes, your calendar, no slide deck. We tell you honestly whether this module fits.
