The problem this solves
Getting paid is slower and leakier than it should be. Invoices are PDFs attached to emails, so the customer has to go find a way to pay, which delays cash. Nobody knows what is outstanding without opening the accounting system, follow-up on late invoices is manual and inconsistent, and payment status never makes it back to the CRM, so sales and success are blind to which customers are actually current.
How we work
We build collection so paying is frictionless for the customer and visible for you. Payment links and checkout pages let a buyer pay in a couple of clicks, and native invoices carry a pay-now action rather than sitting as a static PDF. For EU businesses this runs through the connected Stripe processor, set up as part of the commerce foundation.
Then we make the state of collection visible where it matters: paid, pending, and overdue status flows onto the CRM record, so a success manager opening an account sees whether it is current without leaving HubSpot. Automated reminders chase overdue invoices on a schedule instead of relying on one person to notice, which pulls cash in faster and takes the awkward chasing off a human's plate.
Because getting paid touches finance directly, we keep the reconciliation question in view: how HubSpot's record of a payment lines up with your accounting system, and where the boundary sits. Full accounting integration is its own module; here we make sure collection is clean and the handoff is defined.
