Find what's quietly draining your pipeline.

A structured review of an existing HubSpot setup - data hygiene, workflows, lead scoring, reporting, license utilisation, integration debt. Output: a prioritised fix list with effort estimates. Take it anywhere.

The HubSpot Portal Audit

Typically 2-3 weeks - Fixed-bid

A structured review of an existing HubSpot portal. I look at how the platform is actually being used, and map what's working against what's quietly costing your team time, deals, or attribution accuracy.

You get a written scorecard, a prioritised fix list with effort estimates, and a 90-minute readout with whoever needs to be in the room. No code changes inside the audit - the audit is the diagnosis, not the surgery.

  • Written scorecard across six dimensions
  • Prioritised fix list with effort estimates
  • 90-min readout with recording
  • Recommended 'do this first' sequence
  • Audit fee credits against follow-on work (30 days)

How the audit runs

Brief, audit, readout.

01

Brief

Goals + access

30-minute kickoff. We confirm what you want answered, who needs to be in the room at readout, and which seats, integrations, and processes are in scope. You provision a Spectage seat in the portal (I'll send the spec).

02

Audit

Two weeks inside the portal

Hands-on review of data, workflows, reports, integrations, security, license utilisation. Short interviews with 2-4 internal users. Findings surface progressively in a shared doc so you see them as they land, not all at the end.

03

Readout

90-min walkthrough + scorecard

Live walkthrough of the scorecard, the prioritised fix list, and the recommended sequence. Recording is yours to keep. The fix list is yours to act on - with me, with your in-house team, or with someone else entirely.

Common questions

Things buyers ask before commissioning an audit.

Will the audit recommend you for the fixes?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. The fix list is yours - you can run it with me, with your in-house team, or with another partner. The audit is a fixed-bid product that stands on its own. If the recommendation is a full implementation or a cutover from another CRM, I'll say so explicitly in the readout.

Do you need admin access to the portal?

A Super Admin seat is the easiest path - I send a written spec for the seat (named, time-boxed, with audit-log visibility on my actions). If your security policy doesn't allow that, we can work with a Sales Hub Pro seat and a Reports-only seat, supplemented by screen-share sessions for anything those don't reach. Either way, no data leaves your portal.

What does the scorecard look like?

Six dimensions (data, workflows, sales motion, reporting, integrations, security + cost), each scored on a maturity scale with concrete evidence behind every score. Each dimension has a short prose summary, the top 3-5 findings, and a list of recommended fixes ranked by impact-to-effort.

If we proceed with fixes, does the audit fee get credited?

If you sign an implementation or retainer engagement within 30 days of the readout, the full audit fee credits against that engagement. If you decide not to proceed, the scorecard and fix list stay with you - usable as-is, with or without Spectage.

How does it compare to a free HubSpot health check?

HubSpot's own health checks surface the obvious wins quickly - usually 60-90 minutes covering the most common misconfigurations. A Spectage audit is two to three weeks of hands-on work: it goes past the obvious into workflow logic, attribution model, integration health, and license fit, and ends with a written scorecard you can act on.
