The problem this solves
Migrations fail in the details, not in the export. Deal history that arrives without the emails behind it, duplicate contacts multiplied by every tool that ever synced, custom activity types with no obvious HubSpot equivalent, multi-year contracts that fit one record in the old CRM but need several in the new model. A naive one-to-one import carries every past mistake into the new portal.
How we work
We start with a field-by-field mapping workshop: what each object, property, and activity type in your current CRM becomes in HubSpot, what gets merged, and what deliberately stays behind. Odd business cases get modeled rather than skipped - on past migrations we have split multi-year contracts into year-by-year deals and consolidated ten historical pipelines into a few reportable ones.
Then we run a dry-run import into a test environment, review it with your team, and fix the mapping before touching production. The production import runs under supervision with throttling, because HubSpot API rate limits are real and we have already learned where they bite. Activity history, including emails matched to the right records, comes across wherever the source system allows it.
After import we verify record counts, spot-check with your team, and hand over a migration report documenting every mapping decision.
