HubSpot Data Hub

Data Hub that makes HubSpot the clean single source of truth.

Sync from external sources, deduplication and data-quality automation, data modeling and calculated properties, programmable logic, and governance you can monitor - so every hub reads from one trustworthy record.

What I build in Data Hub

One trustworthy record every hub can read from.

Source of truth

Single source of truth

Data Hub setup so HubSpot holds the canonical record - object model, property architecture and unique identifiers defined once, so sales, marketing and service all read the same data instead of arguing about whose spreadsheet is right.

Sync

Integration and sync

Two-way sync from external sources - Data Studio, a warehouse like Snowflake, product databases and line-of-business apps - mapped to the HubSpot model so records stay current both ways, not stale copies drifting apart.

Quality

Data quality and enrichment

Deduplication rules, format standardisation, enrichment and intent data wired into automation - so bad records get caught and fixed on the way in, and the database stays clean without a monthly manual scrub.

Modeling

Modeling, logic and governance

Calculated properties, data modeling, programmable automation and custom-coded logic where the point-and-click ceiling stops - plus governance and monitoring so the system stays trustworthy after I hand it over.

Keep external sources in step

Two-way sync with warehouses, databases and business apps.

How I run a Data Hub engagement

Discovery to Scope to Build to Stay.

01Discovery

Where the data breaks

I map your object model, the systems that feed it and where records go stale or duplicate - so the setup fixes the real integrity problem, not a symptom. That becomes the configuration spec.

02Scope

Scope of work

Concrete scope, deliverables and timeline. You know what it covers before I start.

03Build

Sync, clean, model, govern

Data Hub setup, integration and sync, deduplication and quality automation, calculated properties and modeling, programmable logic, governance and monitoring. Weekly checkpoints, full Slack access.

04Stay

Training + 30 days

A working session for the ops people who run it, admin handover, and 30 days of post-launch support. Optional retainer for ongoing care.

Common questions

What buyers ask about Data Hub.

Do we need Data Hub, or can we do this with workflows?

Some of it, yes - simple dedup and formatting can be pushed with native tools. Data Hub earns its place when you are syncing external sources, need real duplicate management at scale, or want data-quality automation that runs continuously instead of a manual clean-up every quarter. In discovery I tell you straight which parts justify the tier.

Can you sync HubSpot with our warehouse or Data Studio?

Yes. Two-way sync with sources like Snowflake, a data warehouse, product databases or business apps, mapped to your HubSpot object model. Where a native connector does not exist, I build it with custom code and the API - this is the engineering-heavy hub and it is where my custom-code strength fits.

Our database is a mess. Where do you start?

With the model and the duplicates. I define the source of truth, standardise formats, set deduplication rules and put quality automation on the way in - so records get fixed as they arrive rather than piling up. Clean-up first, then the fun modeling and automation on top of data you can trust.

What can you do that point-and-click can't?

Calculated properties beyond the native ceiling, custom-coded workflow actions, programmable logic, webhooks and API calls, and cross-hub data activation. When the standard tools stop, I keep going in code - without leaving you a black box only I can maintain.

How long does it take?

A focused Data Hub setup on a reasonable model moves fast. Full external sync, deduplication at scale, custom modeling and governance across a messy multi-system estate take longer. I commit to a date in the scope doc and hit it.
