You have an admin and it works
Someone in-house or a partner maintains Salesforce, and process changes go live without a wait.
Salesforce can fit almost any process, but it usually takes an admin to get there. HubSpot is the better pick when someone on your team should change stages, fields and reports, and marketing should run in the same system as sales. Pricing and features compared below.
Prices per the vendors’ price lists, October 2026, per seat per month unless stated otherwise. For new accounts in Europe since October 1, 2026, HubSpot sells a single platform edition that covers all hubs, priced in seats and credits: on Professional, a GTM seat is €90 per month billed annually (€100 billed monthly), an Ops seat starts at €50, and the account gets 10,000 HubSpot credits a month. Quotes, contracts and billing run on Apex or CPQ that your IT team builds and maintains.
Salesforce ties together several companies and departments in your group, and headquarters picks the system.
A trained person from sales or operations adds a stage, field or report. I stay on for changes that need deeper knowledge.
Marketing works in the same database as sales. In Salesforce, marketing automation is a separate product, Account Engagement, with its own license.
HubSpot builds the report from first website visit to closed deal, without merging data from two products.
Breeze assistant and agents run inside your HubSpot portal. In Salesforce, Agentforce is an add-on you buy on top of the license.
On top of the Salesforce license, budget for an admin or an ongoing contract with an implementation partner. In HubSpot, a trained team member usually takes on that work.
I move Leads, Accounts, Opportunities and Cases with their associations and original dates. Flows become workflows, and Salesforce stays available for reference.
Salesforce migration
I am a HubSpot consultant. I work in HubSpot every day: I implement it, train teams and connect it with the rest of the company’s systems. My advice comes from what has worked across dozens of portals.
On the license alone, it depends on the Salesforce edition. Prices are in the table above. The bigger difference often sits outside the license: an admin, an implementation partner and a separate marketing product. I’ll run the numbers for your seats and contacts.
In many companies, yes. Pipelines, forecasts, custom objects, team permissions, marketing and reporting cover what reps use in Salesforce. Before you decide, I check for complex CPQ, multi-entity structures and processes built on custom code.
Usually not a full-time one. Someone from sales or operations changes pipelines, workflows and reports, and I train that person during implementation. For bigger changes, I help through ongoing support.
You can. The HubSpot integration with Salesforce syncs contacts, companies and deals. But you pay for two systems, and someone has to watch the sync. If sales needs nothing that only Salesforce offers, I’d move it along with marketing.
I start with an object and field review. Each field maps to an existing property, gets a new one or stays in the archive. The Salesforce integration moves records, and I sort Flows and Apex into what to rebuild as workflows and what to switch off.
No. Reps work in Salesforce until switchover day, and I lock edits only during the final import. After that, Salesforce stays available for reference.
We’ll work it out on the call, once I know your process. You pay for the HubSpot license separately, directly to HubSpot.
