Common questions
What buyers ask about Revenue Hub.
Is this the same as Commerce Hub?+
Yes - HubSpot renamed Commerce Hub to Revenue Hub. The scope is the same idea, broadened: products and pricing, CPQ and quoting, subscriptions and billing, checkout and payments, plus revenue automation and reporting. If you knew it as Commerce Hub, this is where it now lives.
Does Revenue Hub replace our billing or ERP system?+
Not always, and we say so straight. For some businesses HubSpot handles the full quote-to-cash cycle. For others it runs quoting and the sales side and integrates with an existing billing or finance system. In discovery we map which parts belong in HubSpot and which stay integrated.
How is this different from Sales Hub?+
Sales Hub works the pipeline - deals, forecasting, prospecting. Revenue Hub takes the won deal forward - the quote, the product and pricing, the subscription, the payment and the revenue record. They share the Smart CRM foundation, and we usually scope them together.
Can it handle subscriptions and recurring billing?+
Yes. Subscription terms and schedules, renewals and proration, upgrades and downgrades, failed-payment retries and cancellations. The point is recurring revenue that keeps flowing without someone reconstructing it by hand every month.
How long does it take?+
A focused quoting and product setup moves fast. Full subscription billing, payment collection and finance-system integration across a complex pricing model take longer. We commit to a date in the scope doc and hit it.
